Speaking to Republican supporters, newly elected US President Donald Trump said his Democratic opponent, Hillary Clinton had congratulated him in a message.
“It is time for us to come together as one united people. I pledge that I will be President for all Americans. This is so important to me. For those who have chosen to oppose me in the elections, I am reaching out to you for guidance to work together. Ours was not a campaign but a movement of people who want a better future. It comprises of all races and religious. We will work to rebuild the American dream. We will double our growth.”
In a message to the international community, Trump said he would get along with all other nations willing to get along with the US. “We will deal fairly with everyone. We will seek common ground not hostility. Partnership.”, he said.
