Greek Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura met with former French president Nicolas Sarkozy and his wife Carla Bruni while the couple were in Athens for Bruni’s concert in the Greek capital.
According to a ministry’s statement, Sarkozy referred to the success of the Greek tourism sector and Greece’s spectacular growth course. On her part, Kountoura wished Bruni every success in her world tour, which she elected to start from Greece. Bruni will stay in Greece for a few days to have a brief holiday with her family and asked Kountoura to suggest routes and places of interest to include in her itinerary.
