The car of a Korydallos prison guard exploded outside his home in the area of Egaleo early on Tuesday morning.
According to the police, the bomb was planted on the car’s rear side wheel on the driver’s side, went off at around 3am. The blast totally destroyed car and the police has launched an investigation.
The Minister of Justice Nikos Paraskevopoulos commented that “legality and equality in prisons are non-negotiable” and that warned that the intimidation tactics will fail.
