Israeli who called 112 for help found swimming at water park

An Israeli tourist who had called for help through the European emergency telephone number (112) while she was hiking in Hersonissos, northeastern Crete, was found safe and sound at a water park by the fire department’s special response unit on Sunday afternoon.

The 18-year-old woman lost her orientation while hiking on Saturday afternoon, but later found her way back. However she forgot to alert the authorities who kept searching for her until they found her swimming at the pool
