The Greek capital is kicking off its fourth consecutive Athens Street Food Festival today at the Old Railway depot at Gazi, greekcitytimes.com reports.
Beginning this afternoon, special delicacies and dishes from throughout the world will be available for sampling, with the event is taking place over nine days: May 10-12, 17-19 and 24-26.
Amateurs and professional chefs alike will be offering a wide variety of food, from countries like Cuba and Mexico to China and India, through to Jamaica and Hawaii to Greece and Brazil.
Visitors will be able to savor popular international cuisine found around the globe.
The Athens Street Food event was first introduced in 2016 and last year more than 250,000 people attended, with this year expected to be even bigger and better.
There will also be appearances by popular radio DJs and on Saturday, May 11th, a massive party will take place, featuring Dutch DJ Maestro, the mastermind of the renowned Blue Note Trips series.
