Tourist arrivals from India, the world’s largest growing market, with a development rate of 7.5 pct of GDP, are expected to further increase in 2018 while, last year, 200,000 tourists from India came to Greece.
The founder of NamasteGreece (the only independent and specialized organization in the development and management of tourism from India to Greece), Christos Dimos, estimated that tourists arrivals will increase at least 20 percent in 2018. Provided that there is a direct flight between the two countries, arrivals will further increase, he added.
NamasteGreece, promotes medical tourism in Greece as there is significant interest from India.
