The number of tourists arriving in Cyprus reached 101,481 in February 2018 compared to 82,209 in February 2017, recording a rise of 23.4%, on the basis of the results of the Passengers Survey, published on Monday by the Statistical Service of Cyprus.
For the period of January – February 2018 arrivals of tourists totalled 177,348 compared to 144,820 in the corresponding period of 2017, recording an increase of 22.5% and outnumbering the total arrivals ever recorded in Cyprus in the first two months of the year
Commenting on February’s arrivals, the Cyprus Tourism Organization (CTO) stresses that, in addition to the extraordinary performance of February 2018, tourist arrivals hit record in all previous months, since March 2017.
The total arrivals of tourists for the period March 2017 – February 2018, together, reached 3,684,601.
