The number of residents of Cyprus travelling abroad dropped by 0.4% in September 2018.
On the basis of the results of the Passengers Survey, issued by the Statistical Service, 129.631 residents of Cyprus returned from a trip abroad in September 2018 compared to 130.174 in the corresponding month last year, recording a fall of 0,4%.
According to the Statistical Service, in September 2018 there was a decrease of 1,4% in the trips of residents to Greece (51.015 in September 2018 compared to 51.759 in September 2017) as well as a decrease of 31,7% in the trips of residents to the United Kingdom (14.568 compared to 21.315 last year).
