Cyprus Deputy Minister of Tourism Savvas Perdios has said that the Agia Napa marina, under construction, will upgrade the tourist product in the Famagusta district and beyond, CNA reports.
In statements after touring the site, escorted by Mayor Yiannis Karousos and the project’s head, Stavros Karamontani, Perdios said that Cyprus needs projects like the marina and congratulated those involved.
He announced the new marina will upgrade the area as well as the island’s tourist product, and pledged his ministry will support the project.
