Students from schools in Israel and Greece met on Wednesday in Athens as part of the “Young Ambassadors” initiative from Israel’s “Young Leadership Center”, according to greekreporter.com.
Pausanias Papageorgiou, the Secretary General for Lifelong Learning of the Greek Ministry of Education, praised the eighty young people from two Greek and five Israeli schools who met together at the Athens Concert Hall.
Speaking with state-run AMNA news agency, the education official noted that the group of teenagers “strove to come up with answers to crucial questions, but also to debunk stereotypes.”
The Israeli students had the opportunity to visit many local sites, including the Parliament, SKAI TV Headquarters and the Greek Foreign Ministry.
