“Political relations between Greece and Lebanon are traditionally good, in the sense that they have no problems. Economically, although we are one of Lebanon’s main economic partners, we can do more,” Ambassador of Greece in Lebanon, Franciscos Verros, noted in an interview with the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA).
On the sidelines of the 1st Greek Festival of Lebanon, held from June 7 to June 9 in the ancient city of Byblos (Jbeil), Verros underlined Lebanon’s interest in real estate investment and tourism, but also the opportunities it sees for Greek investments in the infrastructure sector, as Lebanon is in a phase of economic development. He also referred to the prospects that may exist in sectors, such as food, medicines, cosmetics, and energy (particularly renewable resources).
