The traffic at the border post of Promachonas was high on Tuesday, the second day of the free transport of tourists and visitors from Bulgaria and Romania, ANA reports.
The vehicles have formed long lines from early in the morning and as police said they are doing whatever possible to facilitate the traffic.
National Health Organisation’s teams are at Promachonas conducting tests to keep the visitors’ names and addresses. Those undergoing tests will remain in quarantine until the results of the tests are ready. If the result is positive then they will remain in quarantine for fourteen days, according to the health protocol.
