Passage of bills by Greece under Memorandum obligations

With urgent procedures the Greek Parliament will pass two bills, within the scope of the country’s Memorandum obligations for the completion of the second review before the Eurogroup of December 5th.

The first bill concerns the simplification of procedures for the establishment of new businesses and stipulates their establishment without a notarial deed, as well as sanctions for false and misleading details; it also regulates issues regarding farmers. The second bill stipulates a new institutional framework for exercising economic activities and aims at fostering entrepreneurship and competitiveness, and combating excessive bureaucracy.
