The face-to-face talks between Greek authorities and the institutions for the completion of the second review of the Greek programme were over, while the few remaining issues that remain will be settled over the “next few days,” finance ministry sources told the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA) on Friday.
“The face-to-face negotiation has been completed. Two to three issues are still pending, which will be concluded in the next few days,” the sources said concerning the contacts between Greek ministers and the institutions in Brussels, as the Greek negotiating team returned to Athens.
According to a spokesperson for the European Stability Mechanism (ESM), meanwhile, there had been “some progress” in the latest round of talks between Greek authorities and the institutions over the last week in Brussels. The talks will continue between all the sides from their respective headquarters, with the aim of concluding the second review, the spokesperson added.
