European Central Bank confirms the positive outlook for Greece’s economy

On the occasion of the EU Summit in Brussels, Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras met with Mario Draghi, President of the European Central Bank (ECB), and with Benoit Coeuré, Member of the Executive Board of the ECB, who confirmed the positive outlook for Greece’s economy. The ECB officials stressed the positive course of Greece’s economy and the continuing improvement of the fundamentals, which lead to the estimation that markets will start taking them into consideration in the forthcoming period.

Furthermore, it was ascertained that the Greek bond is being detached from the Italian bond, slowly but steadily, and that any fluctuations in Greek bonds are due to exogenous factors and not to Greece’s economy.
