Alternate Minister of Environment Sokratis Famellos submitted to the European Commission the National Plan for Circular Economy (NPCE) on Thursday, during a meeting held in Brussels with Commissioner for Environment, Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Karmenu Vella and Director General for Environment Daniel Calleja Crespo, ANA reports.
The Commissioners congratulated Famellos on the Greek government’s initiative to draw and adopt the NPCE, and ensured him that the EU will assist Greece implement the plan by providing both technical and financial assistance.
