The percentage of undeclared work fell significantly to 8.94 pct in 2018, from 12.4 pct in 2017, 13.58 pct in 2016, 16.48 pct in 2015 and 19.17 pct in 2014, official figures showed on Friday, according to ANA.
A report by the “Artemis” business plan, recording the results of labour inspection actions in the country, indicated that a total of 37,270 enterprises were inspected, of which 3,869 (10.38 pct) had undeclared workers. Out of a total 112,073 workers in enterprises inspected, a total of 5,689 (5.08 pct) were undeclared and fines were imposed worth 58,857,687 euros.
