Greek Finance Ministry predicts a primary surplus of 3,9% of GDP for 2018, while it also announced the early repayment of a portion of our country’s borrowing from the IMF, which has a very high interest rate of 5%, int.ert.gr reports.

This provision is included in the Economic Bulletin issued by the Ministry, which notes that the budgetary targets will be surpassed for the fourth consecutive year.

Concerning the early payment of part of the IMF loan, ESM chief Klaus Regling also expressed his agreement after the informal Eurogroup held last Friday in Bucharest.
