Piraeus Bank staff on strike actions on Wednesday and Thursday over layoffs

Piraeus Bank staff will hold a nationwide 24hr strike on Thursday, as well as a protest gathering to be held at the labor ministry on the same day, the Federation of Bank Workers’ Unions (OTOE) said on Tuesday, according to ANA.

Furthermore, OTOE said a work stoppage will be held on Wednesday from 7:45 am to 11:00 am, while protesters will also gather at 7:15 am outside Piraeus Bank’s headquarters in central Athens.
