The 700-euro social dividend announced earlier in the week by Finance Minister Christos Staikouras will be credited to beneficiaries’ bank accounts by the end of December at the latest, while in some cases such as the long-term unemployed, by Christmas, the finance ministry said on Saturday, according to ANA.
The e-government’s social insurance online platform (HDIKA) will open for applications on December 17 and close on December 31.
