Retroactive payments to Greek pensioners after court ruling to reach €1.4 billion

The Greek state will dole out 900 million euros to cover retroactive payments to private-sector pensioners, following a recent decision in favor of the latter by a high court, naftemporiki.gr reports.

The payment was cited in a report by Greece’s General Accounting Office.  

Another half billion euros will be allocated for retroactive payments to public sector pensioners.
