The Greek tax service reintroduced services for the public solely through appointments and only for emergencies, through October 4, it said, for bureaus within Attica, as part of measures to discourage the dispersion of novel coronavirus infections which have spiked in the region in the last few weeks, ANA reports.
To accommodate the public, the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) announced that scheduled meetings will be extended to 16:00 daily at services that under normal circumstances operate to 15:00. These include the central AADE office, local tax offices, customs offices, and the General Chemical State Laboratory.
