There will be no extension to the current deadline for paying annual vehicle road tax, which ends on Friday, February 26, Finance Minister Christos Staikouras announced on Skai radio on Thursday, ANA reports.
He also spoke about the 500-million-euro program to cover business overheads and the “Gefyra 2” bridging loans program to help businesses weather lockdown, noting that the support measures will be enriched for as long as necessary but that it would be impossible to cover all losses as long as restrictions to the operation of the economy continue to exist.
