Olympia Forum III: Unemployment fell 5.1% in Greece during last three years

Labour and Social Affairs Minister Kostis Hatzidakis referred to the changes that have been made in the labor market and the interventions to remove any obstacles during his speech on Friday at the Olympia Forum III, organized by the Economic Forum of Delphi and the newspaper PATRIS, ANA reports.

In the panel in which he participated, analyzing the data on unemployment, the minister underlined that in the last three years it has fallen by 5.1%. Specifically, it has fallen to 12.4 % this year from 17.5% in July 2019. He explained that this didn’t happen by chance, but was a result of the government’s overall economic policy.
