German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel visits Athens

“We must all work together so that we may reach a solution by April”, stated the German Foreign Minister Mr. Sigmar Gabriel referring to the Greek government’s negotiations with the Institutions to complete the 2nd assessment of the Greek program.

The German Foreign Minister is on an official visit to Athens and met the Greek Prime Minister yesterday afternoon. Mr. Gabriel praised the efforts of Greece towards the essential reforms and stressed the need for unity and cohesion within the EU.

Mr. Gabriel met with the President of the Hellenic Republic this morning. They expressed their sympathy to Great Britain which is ravaged by the terrorist attack in Westminster and President Pavlopoulos expressed his belief that terrorism should be relentlessly dealt with.
