Emine Erdogan's visit to Athens Acropolis Museum cancelled due to illness

Betty Baziana (Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras’ wife)  and Emine Erdogan’s planned joint visit to the Acropolis Museum was cancelled on Thursday after the Turkish president’s wife announced she was feeling unwell and cancelled the rest of her programme for the day.

The Turkish first lady asked to meet Baziana at the hotel where the Turkish delegation has lodged.

It is not the first meeting between the two ladies, who also talked last May in China.
