Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis explained to SYRIZA leader Alexis Tsipras on Monday in parliament during the debate on the revision of the Constitution that his proposals were not rejected by New Democracy but by the Greek people on July 7 elections, ΑΝΑ ρεπορτσ.
“The next revision can’t take place for ten years. Today let’s make a cool assessment of what exactly happened during this process […] As of tomorrow, the country will have a new Constitution, the Constitution of 2019. It will bear the stamp of today’s parliamentary majority but it will also be a product of inter-party consensus,” Mitsotakis pointed out.
