Greek Minister: Strict penalties for violating coronavirus rules or profiteering

Strict measures will be brought to bear on those who violate the rules for protection against the novel coronavirus and anyone engaging in profiteering, government spokesperson Stelios Petsas announced on Wednesday, speaking to ANT1 TV, ANA reports.

“As the prime minister said yesterday, we are at war and wars have victims; we hope our humanity is not among them and, for this reason, the prime minister’s plea will be backed by strict measures against those who want to violate the rules and attempt to take advantage of the situation,” Petsas noted.
