Foreign Affairs Minister Nikos Dendias briefed UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Turkey’s provocations against peace and regional stability in the Aegean and the eastern Mediterranean, at their meeting in New York on Friday, ANA reports.
The minister told Guterres about the Greece-Egypt deal on the demarcation of maritime zones, the Cyprus issue, and also delivered a letter from Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis to the Secretary-General regarding Turkish violations, and he requested that this be forwarded to the president of the Security Council.
