Vice President of the European Commission Margaritis Schinas, speaking at the Conference of the Delegation of the European Commission in Greece, on “Science and innovation in our daily lives” on Monday underlined the important role of science.
“During the difficult days I was fighting the coronavirus from a hospital bed, the only hopeful thought that supported me with faith for tomorrow was my belief that science would provide the solution to this great problem. We are really now at the critical point where science is once again proving to be the hope of humanity,” pointed out Schinas.
