A video conference of European leaders is underway on Thursday, with the participation of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, ANA reports.
The two-day meeting is expected to cover the current situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, preparedness for health threats, security and defence, and relations with the Southern Neighbourhood.
The discussion begins with the coronavirus pandemic, and EU leaders will focus on continuing coordinating the response to the Covid-19 pandemic, focusing in particular on the authorisation, production and distribution of vaccines and the movement of persons.
