There are two issues for Greek tourism after the lifting of curbs to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, stated Alternate Foreign Minister Miltiadis Varvitsiotis on Tuesday to MEGA TV, ANA reports.
First, the creation of a support package for the tourism sector and the European coordination of measures for air transport to avoid new flare-ups of COVID-19.
“The aim is to have a European health protocol for the boarding of passengers,” he pointed, adding that the issue of tourism is very high on the European agenda thanks to the insistent efforts of Greece and other countries.
He explained that there are no plans to bar the entrance of people from specific countries that have a major problem with the virus.
