Total passenger traffic in all Greek airports rose 118.1 pct, with arrivals from abroad recording an increase of 126.9 pct in October 2021 compared to October 2020, according to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), ANA reports.
Arrivals in the ten-month period recorded an increase of 69 pct compared to the corresponding season last year, while compared to the corresponding 10-month period of January-October 2019 when there were no bans and restrictions on flights due to the pandemic, they dropped by 45.7 pct.
The total number of passengers reached 32,057,627, showing a rise of 69 pct compared to 18,967,841 passengers in the corresponding period of 2020.
