Greek Labour Minister unveils plans for transition to digital age

Greek Labour and Social Affairs Minister Yiannis Vroutsis outlined the characteristics of the transition to a new and digital age in a briefing on Tuesday, according to ANA.

As he noted, it is now possible to plan specialised and targeted policies that can reduce administrative and operational costs while increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the planned actions.

The ministry is moving digital transformation a step further, not only at national but also at European level, by integrating modern business intelligence systems – cutting-edge technology – into the Diagnosis Mechanism for the collective and creative exploitation of labour market data and other actions, Vroutsis said.
