Piraeus Bank expanded its contract farming programme to include the aquaculture sector through a cooperation agreement with Manios & Co.
Manios & Co was founded 15 years ago in the Kavala fishing dock, trading fresh fish. It is a medium and open sea fishing third generation company with fishing fleet of more than 20 vessels. The company is focusing on exports to EU member-states and third countries.
Through the expanded fishing contract programme offered by Piraeus Bank, a fisheries company has available the necessary liquidity in competitive terms at the time it is needed and guaranteed timely payment of its products.
