The final report of a parliamentary committee probe on bank loans granted to political parties and media will be delivered to Parliament President Nikos Voutsis on Monday afternoon, it was announced on Friday.
The committee plans to meet one last time on Monday and vote on the report. Discussing the preliminary findings on Friday, all sides admitted the lending system for parties and media was problematic and unaccountable, but presented different approaches and assessments concerning both the causes and attribution of liability, as well as on the people who should be charged.
