Traffic restrictions will be implemented in Athens on Sunday, June 23, because of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation’s “SNF-RUN: Running to the Future” evening races, according to ANA
The restrictions will be introduced in the municipalities of Athens and Kallithea, affecting major roads and avenues like Syngrou, Vassilissis Sofias, Vassileos Konstantinou, Vassileos Georgiou I, Irodou Attikou, Stadiou, Eolou, and the area surrounding Syntagma Square.
The first two races – 6K and 10K runs -will start at the Panathenaic Stadium (known as Kallimarmaron) at 20:50 and 21:10 respectively, with runners crossing the city center and returning through Syngrou to finish at the SNFCC running track.
