The 1st Exhibition of the Social and Solidarity Economy held by the Greek Labour Ministry opens its doors on November 1 at the Athens Technopolis. Greece’s Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras will inaugurate the exhibition at 19:00 on Wednesday. According to a ministry statement, the public will have the opportunity to become acquainted with the products and services of 150 social businesses and workers’ cooperatives from all over the country, which are involved in all fields of the economy. The visitors will have the opportunity to take part in workshops and discussions on the establishment of social enterprises as well as on the way they can be supported. The opening hours of the exhibition will be 11.00 to 23.00, while entrance will be free.
