The 12th Los Angeles Greek Film Festival (LAGFF) held its official opening night on June 6, 2018 at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood.
Greek and Greek-American actors, musicians, and entertainers walked the red carpet before the opening night premiere of “Smuggling Hendrix” at 7 PM. The first movie of the 2018 LAGFF technically premiered at June 4 at UCLA’s James Bridges Theater with a screening of “1968” by Tassos Boulmetis; nevertheless, this was the first official screening at the festival’s home venue of the Egyptian Theatre.
The festival will last until June 10, when it will close with a screening of “Perfect Strangers”, followed by the annual Orpheus Awards. Check out the full 2018 film lineup at lagff.com.
