Madeleine Peyroux, one of the greatest jazz vocalists of our times, returns to Athens for a jazz concert at the Christmas Theater (Galatsi Olympic Hall) on December 6, ANA reports.
Peyroux, whose previous appearances in Athens were much acclaimed by critics and enthralled the Athenian audience, will be presenting work from her new album entitled “ Anthem”, along with old favourites from the course of her career.
Peyroux follows in the tradition of the great jazz singers of the 1930’s and is often referred to as “ the Billie Holiday of the 21st century”.
