The European Commission in Athens is marking several anniversaries of European significance on Saturday at an open event at Zappeion Megaron in Athens on May 11, according to ANA.

The celebration honors the 40th anniversary of the signing of Greece’s treaty of EU accession on May 28 1979, and the upcoming May 26 European elections
It includes music, singing, acting, games, gift raffles, and a concert with singer Marina Sati as guest start and the City of Athens Philharmonic orchestra.
