The 5th “Beyond Borders” International Documentary Festival 2020 held at Castellorizo island on August 23-30, will showcase a total of 24 films in the documentary genre, 18 feature-length films, and 6 short films, ANA reports.
Spanning a broad spectrum of subjects, the program features a selection of films highlighting historical, cross-cultural events, trends, and personalities, as reflected in the prizes that will be awarded by the festival’s jury: Best History Documentary, Best Sociopolitical Documentary, Best Short-Length Documentary (all kindly sponsored by the Hellenic Parliament), Best Greek Documentary (sponsored by the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) and the Special Award of Mediterranean Friendship (sponsored by the National Centre of Audiovisual Media & Communication/EKOME Media).
