Twelve films of the Onassis Foundation “ENTER” programme will make a leap from laptops to the big screen, where they will premiere as part of the 43rd short-film festival of Drama, taking place from September 20 to 26, ANA reports.
ENTER is a programme that emerged at the start of the pandemic. Onassis STEGI and Onassis USA presented artists from all around the world with a challenge of creating a series of new commissions from home, sharing their new reality without having access to theatres, studios and rehearsals – and doing so within 120 hours. Apartments, gardens, terraces, roads, children, husbands and wives and roommates became part of the new site-specific scenes, turning laptops into creative superpowers.
