Deputy Minister of Tourism, Savvas Perdios, urged hoteliers to respond to a call to host people expected to be repatriated to Cyprus in the coming days, and who will need to confine themselves due to measures against the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), CNA reports.
Perdios told CNA that the Deputy Ministry already sent a framework of cooperation to hoteliers` associations, to sign an agreement with the government to provide accommodation and services.
“This is a crucial moment for our country and hoteliers are called to do their part,” Perdios argued.
