The Group expands its investment footprint in selected urban locations
Cretan Investment Group (CIG), the investment arm of MK Hotel Collection led by Marita Karatzi, announces the completion of the acquisition of the Hilton Garden Inn Athens Syggrou Avenue property, as part of its strategy to invest in mature hospitality assets in key urban locations.
The property is located on Syngrou Avenue, one of Athens main business and development corridors, characterized by consistently strong demand and strategic importance for the broader hospitality market of the capital. The transaction forms part of a broader investment plan aimed at strengthening the portfolio of Cretan Investment Group.
The transaction was carried out on a sale & leaseback basis. The hotels operation and management remain unchanged, with no alteration to the existing operational framework, ensuring business continuity and the stability of the investment model.
