The draft law on “theme tourism” addresses chronic problems it resolves while strengthening the tourism industry and creating a friendly investment framework, Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura said during a discussion in the Committee on Production and Commerce of the Parliament, according to ANA.
She also spoke of Greece’s dynamic presence in the international tourist market, as the country is now a top tourist destination.
“In our new development plan, we have set our strategic priorities for the development of high-quality tourism with a sustainable, fair and balanced solution. It is a milestone that opens up new horizons and supports local and regional investment,” she underlined.
