Tom Hanks cheered on his wife of 31 years, Rita Wilson, as she took the stage to perform at this year’s Stagecoach Festival in California on April 27, according to greekreporter.com.
Held in Indio, California, the Stagecoach Festival is nearly equal in popularity to the world-famous Coachella Festival and focuses on country music.
Wilson, who is a singer-songwriter in addition to a successful actress, performed music from her repertoire. The multi-talented performer was also recently awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Her last album, titled “Halfway to Home”, was released in March of 2019.
Tom and Rita’s children, Chet and Truman, were also on hand to applaud their mother’s performance.
Wilson opened for famed country band Lynyrd Skynyrd, and was evidently excited about the opportunity to perform with them. She uploaded several Instagram photos from the event, one of which she captioned, “@stagecoach thank you!!!! Had THE Best time!!! Even in the crazy heat you brought the energy and love!!”.
If you want to see Rita Wilson perform in person, she will be on tour this summer starting in Atlanta on June 5. She will also be performing in her homeland of Greece at the Summer Nostos Festival.
