Media report: Tourists in ancient Greek attire denied entry to Athens Acropolis

Fourteen German tourists were denied entry to the Acropolis archaeological site in Athens on Saturday after site guards deemed they were dressed inappropriately, according to protothema.gr.

As Skai.gr reports, the guards justified their decision to ban the 14 female tourists, who were wearing ancient Greek attire, claiming they needed a special permit as their escorting photographer was a professional.

According to the reports, the decision caused the frustration of many Greek and foreign tourists present during the incident.
