Athens reached 16th place, from 18th, on the relevant European ranking for conferences and conventions in 2018, based on results of a report by the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA), a development coming as European destinations have been losing ground over recent years to Asian destinations.
The development was reported on Monday by the “This is Athens & Partners” initiative, a private sector-public sector partnership.
