The “Greek Freak” nickname may soon be coming to a backpack, hoodie or other gear linked to Milwaukee Bucks NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The U.S. Patent and Trademark office recently approved a trademark for “Greek Freak,” the nickname for the All-Star forward.
The federal notice of the trademark indicates the application was filed on May 30th, 2014.
It is for use on backpacks, as well as “shirts, t-shirts, sweatshirts, hooded sweatshirts, jackets, hooded jackets, sports jerseys, socks, warm-up suits, caps [and] hats,” the notice says.
